Blog up!

My first post, yay. I think blogging consumes too much time actually, but this is really for convenience's sake since I take way too long to reply my e-mails. So please (and this is specifically directed to two people), no more jibes about my being in a black hole!

It's been a month since I returned to London. First things first.. I'M NOT HOMELESS ANYMORE! Zhi Hui and I are living in a flat in Craven Hill Gardens in Bayswater. It's a studio flat, but we swapped the double bed in the bedroom for two single beds. There's also a lounge and a kitchen that's TINY. You can only have one person cooking in it at any time. We're paying about £150 (all bills included + TV license + broadband) per week, per person. Bayswater is fabo. We've got all the amenities we need - tube stations, Hyde Park, Queensway (and Four Seasons' duck!), Malaysia Hall, noisy neighbours even. Chun How and Lil are in the unit directly above us, and a number of my uni friends and other Malaysian students live in the area as well. It takes me 15-20 mins to get to school by tube; 30 by bus. The first few weeks were really hectic and it took us ages before we finally finished unpacking all our stuff due to lack of storage space. And we only managed to clean, like PROPERLY clean, the flat almost 2 weeks after moving in because we never seemed to run out of people staying over and there wasn't much time for housework. But I'm satisfied with the end result though. I've begun to realise my like for cleaning isn't just a novelty - I honestly do enjoy washing the dishes, hoovering the floor and rearranging stuff (June: Xian, you're anal!). Praps I should rethink a career in law :P

MF: I've watched Naruto up to Ep 156! Ho ho ho. And I'm gonna buy Bleach off eBay; downloading takes too much time. Oh, I HAVE to send you a picture of my piggies. They're arranged nicely on my desk and they're as cute as ever.

I have to get back to my Jurisprudence reading now. Jurisprudence is the science of law. It's all about what one legal philosopher says, what another challenges, what a further other critiques, and so on and so forth. And as usual, it involves a whole lotta jargon. You know, law would be so much more fun to learn if all these writers didn't try to flash their amazing vocabulary around all the time. One big word, two big words and yet another big word leaves you with a major headache. And at the end of it all, the reader still can't comprehend what the writer's trying to get across. Rrrrrrrrubbish I say.

Till the next post.

Muahs all around!
