Still no mood to blog
Especially when my Internet connection at home is so slow, and all I can do is leech via wireless off my benevolent (and also unaware) neighbour Yunus. In addition, my laptop is giving me problems AGAIN. It works when it wants to so these days I just can't be bothered to turn it on. Anyway, as MF has study plans, faithful driver Toi is on her way to the States, KY is somewhere in St. Petersburg/Mongolia, Dian + YP + just about everyone else is working, I have come up with some summer plans to keep me occupied.
1) Intern with a law firm - if they don't flog me within my first two days there, I am leaving.
2) Renew visa
3) Re-learn to drive
4) Look for a month long job to keep me occupied in July
5) Get back into the swimming routine
6) Play badminton as often as possible
7) Cut my hair which is currently overgrown and shapeless
8) Shop as little as possible cos my suitcase is already heavy enough
9) Take Mandarin lessons
10) Stuff my face with as much local food as possible
I suppose I can check off 1) and 3). I'll be starting at Shearn Delamore in downtown KL (where traffic is supa thick and pollution is at its worst) this Monday and will have to follow the traditional 8.30 am-5.30 pm schedule for 2 weeks. And I've already started on my driving, whee! The full license is about as retarded looking as the P license. It's just printed on crummy paper, laminated and issued on the spot. I kinda expected better since I paid RM 150 for a 5-year permit.
Was in Singapee last weekend to see the new baby in the fam. His name is Christian, and he's really cute. To tell you the truth, I'm not the biggest sucker for babies, except the ones who are related to me (muahahahha blatantly biased and proud of it). Babies are cute, but they're really tiring to look after. Like Gabriel. Okay, so he's funny when he starts singing or when he acts like some pigging slave driver, asking his aunts to fetch his toys and play silly games with him - but it can wear you out after an hour or two. He'll drag you everywhere. It must take a tremendous amount of patience to be a mother. Why can't we clone babies like how they clone mature plants so that they're already age 7 when they've popped out your womb?
Okay lah. It's 3.30 pm and I am close to dying of heatstroke. My dad sent his car to the workshop today so he's taken "my" car and I have none to drive! Wail. I'm gonna go get something icy cold to drink.
