Comfort food 101
You've heard of mac n' cheese and eggs n' spam, but what do you get when you mix...
?
Dunk it in boiling water,
add a little salt and pork stock,
MAC N' SPAM
AND
?
Dunk it in boiling water,
add a little salt and pork stock,
and the end result is...
MAC N' SPAM
Learned flatmate told me the dish is not uncommon in Hong Kong. Other learned flatmate went as far as to say that it's popular in South East Asia and I am less inclined to believe her because the great glutton me had not heard of it until a couple of weeks ago. If you're hungry and in need of a hot comforting snack, give the above recipe a try. It makes you all warm and tingly inside, like sitting by a fire on a cold wintry day.

That actually sounds kind of disgusting. Especially having it sit in water.
