Hibernation period over

Aaaaaaaah. I'm back to blogging again! Weather update - it's now autumn in London and the clocks have moved back an hour ie. the difference between GMT and KL time is now 8 hours.

I just read about Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon's separation. It's troubling when you read about someone's marriage going to the dogs. Relationships aren't easy, but marriage is clearly a garguantan step and I believe people should think twice before they decide to entertain the whims of being in love. Like, did you bother to think about whether you REALLY want to get married? Why do you want to get married anyway? Are you sure this is the person you want to commit your life to? And etc. More importantly, isn't marriage a sacred union before God? The stories I read about people who get hitched and then divorced totally disrupts that notion - it's even worse when they have children. I can't stand the attitude of celebrities in particular. They're always citing things like "irreconcilable differences" usually due to "work and distance", and my brains will be screaming - Look dude/tte. When you settle down, you MUST decide what or who gets priority. Fact: Marriage is as important, or far more as some would say, than work. There's no way you can shove it in a corner and expect your spouse to be satisfied with hellogoodbyekisskisshoneybunchpumpkinpiebabycakes just because you're out making big bucks and building your star potential. If you find that work is interfering with your relationship, ease up on the load and don't take on more than you can handle. But if you can't let go of your work commitments and it's obvious what you're actually married to... then DON'T BOTHER GETTING MARRIED!

I gotta admit though that I'm not as staunch in my opinions when it regards marital affairs. Infidelity is not to be taken lightly, and I can't quite comment on whether divorce would be the right or wrong path in such situations.

Okay, serious mode off now. What am I up to these days, y'all ask? I spend my time looking for a flat, attending church and OCF (Overseas Christian Fellowship), doing some studying and updating my fleet of mobile phones :p I recently upgraded my contract with Vodafone and they gave me a Samsung E900 to reward my loyalty. It IS a great phone; a great LADIES' phone might I add, cos those of you with big clumsy fingers (men, who else?) will have problems manoeuvering your way around E900's touchpad. Hah. And yesterday I signed an O2 contract which is only costing me 25 quid for 1 YEAR. I got a Motorola L6 FOC with that too so yay.

Eh, it's quite fun to collect phones okay. It's a new hobby, apart from my long standing fetish for bags and wallets.............................
